WHAT’S NEW?
Good news! At the June 2025 College of Bishop’s meeting, the College consented to recommending the Anglican liturgical hymnal “Sing unto the Lord” for the use of the Province. (see more info below and an article from the Gulf/Atlantic Diocese: https://www.gulfatlanticdiocese.org/2025/07/grassroots-hymnal-effort-commended-by-college-of-bishops/)
FULL ANGLICAN CHANTS in hymn style are now available for Year B along with guitar chords under the Psalms in Worship tab. Many thanks to Katherine Rick for her loving gift of time and talents in engraving this historic collection making Full Anglican Chant more accessible to all.
Also, a new video teaching with handout on The Biblical Foundations of Music in the church can be found under the Music Leadership Philosophy tab. Good resource for Sunday School, small groups, or personal learning.

Sing unto the Lord: This is the new hymnal from Anglican Music Publishing. At the heart of Sing Unto the Lord are 740 hymns representing the best selections from The Hymnal 1940, The Hymnal 1982, and Hymns Ancient and Modern as well as many rich new hymns written in the past 40 years. Included are only the best texts and tunes, hymns that are highly singable and time-tested. The extensive Service Music section is based on the structure of the 2019 Book of Common Prayer. The hard bound Pew Edition and large-format spiral bound Keyboard/Guitar edition as well as a free Hymnal Planner found under the Resources tab are available at (Sing Unto the Lord: A liturgical hymnal).
